The city was rename Kyoto after the Chinese word for capital city. It was called Kyo before it was renamed. It has been the imperial city for more than one thousand years. There are many famous places to pray in Japan. Kyoto was removed from the atomic bomb list. Kyoto city is home to the headquarters of nintendo and many more. In Japan the main transport is trains because it is so popular. The language is similar to maori in ways.
