12 Hour relay Disaster

Mrs Mills's jaw gaped open and her eyes rolled skyward as the huge hail fell from the sky. Hail was about and the teachers were not happy. They thought of closing 12 hour relay down but Mr Diver demanded to let the kids keep going. The hail was the size of pandas. Fat and heavy the hail was and you didn't want to get hit because you would die. The tents were protecting some people but the people that were running had no protection. The teachers were trying to get Mr Diver to call it off but he didn't want to. The medical tent was full of kids that were hit by the panda size hail. The tents were getting hammered by the hail because there was so much of it. Teachers wondered how this hail had appeared because it was such a sunny day but then one dropped then it started.

Where the food market was all the food was covered in white stuff.  All of the p.e gear which the kids were wearing was dirty wet and soon to be unwearable. A teacher noticed that the hail was only happening at tauranga intermediate. It was honestly so strange and the hail was getting worse so Mr Diver finally called the relay off because the medical tent was overflowing with squashed kids. The tent that got hit the most was tawas. When Mr Diver called the relay off all the teachers were so happy but the hail didn't stop there.
